Great to meet you!

I was raised in rural southern Louisiana in a farming family who were dedicated to education and community service. My love of the sciences led to studies at Louisiana State University-Eunice, Loyola University New Orleans, and Tulane University of Louisiana. I was trained at New Orleans Adolescent Hospital, DePaul Tulane Behavioral Center, and Odyssey House of Louisiana. I have served at Legacy Community Health, University of Texas HCPC, Neuro-Psychiatric Center, and Memorial Hermann PRT.

My approach to therapy

“Truth is rarely pure and never simple” Oscar Wilde.

But in truth is where we have hope.

Therapy can be a vehicle for change and development of workable tools to assist in continuing with this journey. Whether you are dealing with Depression, Life changes, Anxiety, Relationships, Trauma, or a new medical or mental health diagnosis, therapy can be a useful mechanism for support, discernment, and information.

What you can expect from me

I would like to provide you with a safe and welcoming environment and space to relieve yourself of these stressors through working on alternatives to current reactions to triggers or stressors in the way of continuing your journey, your way and at your own pace.
