Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I am Shereda Grossett, MSN, PMHNP-BC, RN. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience caring for individuals across a variety of mental health settings. My background includes leadership in inpatient psychiatry, nursing education, and direct patient care.

I specialize in the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, and other psychiatric conditions. I believe that mental health care should be collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, holistic, and solution-focused. I understand that every individual has unique experiences, strengths, and challenges that contribute to their mental health. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their concerns, identify treatment goals, and develop personalized plans that support long-term wellness.

I utilize evidence-based psychiatric assessment, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapeutic interventions. I believe successful treatment involves addressing not only symptoms but also lifestyle factors, stressors, relationships, physical health, and personal goals. Together, we focus on building practical strategies that help clients feel more balanced, confident, and in control of their lives.

What you can expect from me

During our first appointment, my priority is getting to know you as a whole person, not just your symptoms. We will discuss your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, previous treatments, strengths, and goals for care. This comprehensive assessment helps me gain a clear understanding of your needs and allows us to create a treatment plan that feels comfortable and realistic.

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they are encouraged to ask questions and actively participate in treatment decisions. By the end of our session, we will have identified initial goals and discussed next steps to help you move toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
