Dr. Sheree Benjamin

My name is Dr. Sheree Benjamin, DMFT, LMHC, and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. Holding both a master's degree and a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, I provide advanced, doctor-level care by looking at how your relationships, family history, and life systems impact your individual well-being. I specialize in treating generalized anxiety, panic disorders, and depression. In addition, I have been cross-trained and specialize in the treatment of OCD utilizing exposure and response prevention (ERP) and CBT. I enjoy working with clients of all ages and have a passion for working with individuals and couples who suffer from low self-esteem, relationship distress, and unresolved family issues.

My approach is heavily grounded in systemic therapy, meaning I don't just look at a diagnosis in isolation, I look at the whole picture of your life, family dynamics, and daily patterns to find real solutions.

As your therapist, I will work with you towards your goals as we began your journey to healing, self- identification and learning to love your authentic self fully! My Goal for my clients is for you to understand their challenges or diagnosis while providing you with the tools to resolve them realistically or manage symptoms with less avoidance and restrictions.
