Sherelle Pickney, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, is a dual-certified nurse practitioner with over 26 years of healthcare experience, including 4 years of experience as a family nurse practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Southern University A&M College in 2016 and later completed both her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2021 and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree in 2025 from Northwestern State University.
My approach to providing care is compassionate, collaborative, and patient centered. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment journey. I provide mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns. My goal is to help patients gain clarity, develop a healthier mindset, and create individualized treatment plans that support long-term emotional wellness, improved coping skills, and a better overall quality of life.
Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment during their first session. My goal is to take time to understand each client’s concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle factors, and personal goals so we can develop an individualized treatment plan together.
