Great to meet you!
I believe in looking at the whole person and that everyone has their own unique life journey. After working 25 plus years as a social worker, I feel privileged to have heard many clients’ life stories and struggles and to have helped them grow and feel more at ease with themselves. From distressed caregivers to bereaved spouses/parents/siblings, to people going through major life transitions, I have been there to help and support them. Focusing on your strengths and fostering your sense of self-worth and confidence is an important part of what I do.
My experience has been mainly with adults and older adults, working on issues of loss, anxiety, depression, caregiver stress and low self-esteem. I use a combination of approaches in my practice, including cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, grief work and mindfulness. We'll find what works best for you and work towards creating a happier more satisfying life for yourself.
