Credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and Texas with degrees from Baylor University and the University of Houston. 19 years of experience in public education with students in K-12. Worked with families needing support with the 504 and IEP process, divorce care, stress management, anger management, managing ADHD, anxiety, behavioral concerns, depression, self-harm, academic support, autism spectrum, and affective needs of the gifted. In private practice for 7 years.

We all need help from others from time to time as we go through difficult or challenging seasons in our lives. My personal journey along with my training and experience has enabled me to facilitate that journey with clients. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, including solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive-behavioral, directive, and coaching, relational, and strength-based. I also offer faith-based Christian counseling.

The therapeutic relationship between counselor and client is vitally important - establishing rapport is one of the top priorities during our initial session together. My specialty centers around relationships: relationships with others and relationship with self.
