Great to meet you!

Feeling stuck? At a crossroads in your relationships or emotional life? Even the strongest among us can feel lost, unsure, ambivalent, or unhappy at times. As a Licensed Counselor, I can help you understand and manage whatever life throws at you, and how to do it successfully. I believe that you have the strength not just to survive, but to truly thrive. I have a heart for people. As a Christian, I am driven to help people and offer no judgments.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Peery Professional Counseling is a specialized mental health practice dedicated to providing effective anxiety and depression treatment to adults and adolescents ages 13 and older. My approach emphasizes empathy, client-centered care, and a non-judgmental atmosphere, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. It is my desire to share interventions and strategies using CBT, IFS, and SFBT. I have been EMDR Basic Trained. My counseling style is practical, and goal-oriented.

What you can expect from our first session

Your life has worth, meaning, and a purpose. My goal is to assist you in finding these components in a friendly, honest, empathetic, holistic, and straightforward manner.

The ideal client for me is someone who is committed to improving their mental health —

  • During sessions, they are honest and open
  • Keeping appointments is a priority for them
  • Dedicated to implementing strategies during and outside of sessions
  • Assigned periodic "homework" is completed, which is not often!

Sheri's style is

Holistic
Empowering
Solution-oriented
