Great to meet you!

I have over 30 years of experience helping individuals through agencies, hospitals, schools, and private practice, as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a School Counselor. I have a Bachelor's in Education, and a Master's in Family Therapy. I have dedicated my adult life to the service of helping children, adults, couples and families during the most challenging times of their lives. My specialties are Marriage/Couples counseling, Adults, Tweens/Teens, Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Trauma.

My approach to therapy

My style of counseling is one of warmth, education, and humor. I utilize expressive therapy techniques, as well as educational videos and talk therapy to meet your needs. My training is in Marriage and Family Systems Theory. My focus is that we all adopt patterns from our families, with unique, certain beliefs, practices and history, that formed who you are today. Together we will create a plan to assist you with you personal therapy goals. You are not alone, for we are in this together!

What you can expect from me

In my sessions you will be greeted with respect, non-judgment, compassion and safety. My focus is to validate you in your current walk, and to encourage you to move forward towards your therapy and life goals of healing and peace in your relationships. You will learn coping mechanisms to take with you to utilize in your daily lives and relationships. Together we will explore any past family of origin patterns that may be holding you back in your current life goals or relationships.
