Great to meet you!

I’ve been serving individuals, families, and communities in behavioral health for over 20 years. My experience spans community mental health, substance abuse treatment, employee assistance programs, probation and parole systems, juvenile courts, and crisis intervention settings.

I’ve worked closely with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, substance use, life transitions, court involvement, workplace stress, and family conflict. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when multiple systems — work, family, legal, or financial — are weighing on you at once.

Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure where to start. You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. My role is to help you sort through what feels heavy, clarify what needs attention first, and create a practical plan for change.

I bring both clinical expertise and real-world understanding. I’ve collaborated with courts, DFCS, probation officers, and corporate employers — so I understand the pressures that can impact your mental health from all angles.

My approach to therapy

My approach is structured, compassionate, and solutions-focused.

I conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to understand the full picture of what you’re experiencing — emotionally, socially, and environmentally. I use evidence-based tools to assess depression, suicide risk, and substance use concerns to ensure we create the appropriate level of care and safety planning when needed.

In our work together, you can expect:

  • Clear treatment goals
  • Practical coping strategies
  • Accountability with support
  • Crisis planning when necessary
  • Ongoing progress monitoring

I have extensive experience providing individual, family, and group therapy, including substance abuse treatment and DUI programs. I specialize in helping clients:

  • Address depression and mood concerns
  • Navigate substance use and recovery
  • Manage stress and workplace pressure
  • Improve decision-making and accountability
  • Rebuild stability after crisis

Therapy with me is direct but supportive. We focus on measurable progress — not just conversation.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to understand what’s bringing you to therapy and what you want to change.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions to assess your current challenges, emotional well-being, support systems, and any safety concerns. If needed, we will also discuss crisis planning to ensure you feel supported between sessions.

You can expect:

  • A respectful, judgment-free space
  • A clear understanding of your goals
  • Initial steps toward a treatment plan
  • Guidance on what progress may look like

Whether you are dealing with stress, depression, substance use, court-related concerns, or simply feeling overwhelmed, our first meeting will help establish a clear direction forward.
