Great to meet you!

As a licensed mental health counselor for more than 25 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. I view therapy through a trauma informed lens, understanding that what happens to us impacts the way we see and interact with the world. I also know that seemingly small things, decisions, and experiences can have a life long impact.

My approach to therapy

My approach is to provide a comfortable space for you to relax enough to say what's really on your mind. I truly celebrate our unique differences and have no judgement for your perspective or experience. So many of us exist in a world of people pleasing and doing what we think we're supposed to do, instead of taking our own path. Sometimes our own path keeps leading us to bad situations, so we fall back into living others expectations of us. My goal is to help you sort this out.

What you can expect from me

The first step is always to get to know you. I do this by exploring details of how you were raised, how you see yourself, and what you want to work on. There's no magic wand or guarantee, but I like for my clients to walk away from each session feeling heard and motivated to keep moving forward.
