Great to meet you!

I am a Board-Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 26 years of experience working in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I have provided therapy to individuals across the lifespan and have had the privilege of supporting clients through a wide range of challenges.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I specialize in helping clients improve communication, identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, recognize recurring behavioral and relationship patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping with life's stressors. I frequently incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based strategies, and trauma-informed approaches to help clients gain insight and create meaningful change.

I believe that many of the struggles we face are rooted in patterns that developed over time. Together, we can explore what may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop the tools needed to move forward with greater confidence, self-awareness, and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is individualized and tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and challenges. Together, we may explore how past experiences continue to influence your current thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily functioning. We will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, examine coping strategies that are no longer serving you, and develop new skills to help you navigate life’s challenges more effectively.

Life can be complicated, and therapy provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space to untangle difficult thoughts and emotions, gain insight into your experiences, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where we will begin getting to know one another. I will take time to listen to your concerns, learn about your experiences, and gain an understanding of what has brought you to therapy.

Together, we will explore what you hope to achieve, identify any challenges that may be getting in the way, and begin developing a plan tailored to your goals. You can expect honest feedback, thoughtful questions, and a collaborative approach focused on helping you gain clarity, insight, and direction.

Most importantly, my goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path forward.
