Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Sherrie and I have been working in this field since 2003 with adults and children who have experienced trauma. It is important to me that you feel comfortable and accepted in order for you to open up and share things in your personal life that have been a struggle for you. If you are ready to understand yourself better and make changes then this may be a good fit for you!

My approach to therapy

My main approach to therapy is centered on helping you identify how thoughts, feelings and beliefs influence your behaviors. However, I understand that each person is unique and this is why it is important to learn more about you as a person and what may work best for you.

What you can expect from me

My goal is provide an atmosphere where you feel comfortable and understood. I want you to know that I am not here to judge you but rather provide support, encouragement and challenge you as well. My hope is that from each session you will begin to have more insight into yourself in order to make the changes you hope for. I believe that counseling is a collaborative process and we will work together to make decisions about how best to assist you in your goals.
