Great to meet you!

I want you to know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. I’m a warm, genuine, and down-to-earth therapist who believes that feeling heard and understood is an important part of the therapeutic process. I hold a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling and have over ten years of experience working with children, young adults, and families. I’ll meet you where you are, without judgment, while also encouraging you to be honest with yourself and open to growth. My goal is for you to feel safe being your authentic self while we work together toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe therapy should be a partnership, not a one-size-fits-all experience. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while considering your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I want to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools you can use outside of therapy. I’ll support you, challenge you when needed, and celebrate your growth along the way.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you and creating a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the experience, and what you feel is most important for us to focus on. I’ll also learn more about your background, strengths, and current challenges. Most importantly, I want you to get a feel for me and decide whether I’m the right fit for you. You can expect a comfortable, judgment-free space where we can start exactly where you are.
