Great to meet you!

I am a proud wife, mother, Navy Veteran and licensed professional mental health counselor licensed in Mississippi and Tennessee, empowering individuals to rise above challenges. I graduated from Mississippi State in 2004 with a degree in Social Work and in 2006 with a degree in Counseling Education, equipping me to inspire positive change. I am committed to guiding people toward profound self-awareness, innovative treatment modalities, and long lasting personal growth.

My approach to therapy

I employ a comprehensive therapy approach that integrates the structured, evidence-based techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy with the depth, empathy, and holistic care of Humanistic and Holistic Therapy. It ensures that clients receive a well-rounded, personalized experience that promotes healing, resilience, and lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

Through therapy sessions, clients can discover a wealth of enlightening insights, skills, and benefits, aligned with their specific goals and needs, which may encompass: a heightened sense of self-awareness, more effective communication skills, improved coping strategies, increased self-assurance, advanced problem-solving skills, and positive behavioral shifts. Furthermore, clients may develop emotional support, resilience, and personal growth. Each client’s takeaway will be unique, but these general benefits can help improve the overall wellbeing and quality of their lives.
