Great to meet you!

I’m originally from the island of Barbados, and that sense of warmth, culture, and connection shapes how I show up as a therapist. I specialize in working with preteens, teens, young adults, and families who are navigating emotional overwhelm, anxiety, mood changes, and conflict at home.

Many of the clients I support feel misunderstood, frustrated, or stuck in patterns that impact their relationships or confidence. My goal is to help you (or your child) better understand emotions, strengthen communication, and build coping skills that last beyond therapy.

My approach to therapy

Clients describe me as straightforward, compassionate, and results-oriented. I believe therapy should feel supportive but also purposeful. I meet you where you are while helping you move toward clear, realistic goals.

My approach is collaborative and active. I integrate strength-based and trauma-informed strategies, along with practical tools that can be used outside of sessions. My community work, including creating the Therapeutic Intervention Breaks (TIBS) room for teens experiencing emotional distress, continues to influence how I create safe spaces for growth and regulation.

What you can expect from me

You can expect honest conversations, steady encouragement, and structure when it’s helpful. Together, we’ll identify strengths, address emotional patterns, and build tools to manage difficult moments with more confidence and clarity.

My hope is that you leave sessions feeling understood, supported, and equipped to handle challenges in a healthier way.
