Great to meet you!

I am kind, nonjudgmental, and provide a safe space to sit and be; Together a place to learn to grow and promote the well-being of the cracked and deep crevices of the heart. I graduated from Liberty University with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health in 2020. I worked in higher education administration for 40 years before having a career detour. I enjoy providing soul care for those who have a lot of years traveling on life's highway. I am trained as a Christian Therapist using my skill set of enhancing change by using neurobrain pathways, Life Thriving and Flourishing, Biblical Counseling, Overcoming sexual betrayal, shame, and addiction, a solution-focused trauma approach, and cognitive behavioral coping skills to reduce anxiety and depression. I have been married for over 28 years and have four adult sons. I love dogs. I have a 6-year-old German Shepherd named Dakota and a rescue Jack Russell named Bella. My coping skills are cooking, completing puzzles, playing piano, and hearing my metal target ping when practicing my shooting at 400 yards.

My approach to therapy

My philosophy for providing support, along with my beliefs and approach, can be likened to being stranded on a boat, gazing at the clear, majestic, emerald blue waters of the Florida Panhandle and South Georgia. In this moment, I reflect on my favorite verse, Hebrews 6:19: "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."

My approach is non-judgmental, compassionate, with empathy to help come along your side to move forward in a thriving life. An Anchor Holds.

What you can expect from me

I would love to hear your story.

I am a compassionate and caring counselor. During a session, we can work through things together, exploring your inner self and learning about what makes you unique. I listen very carefully during our sessions and reflect to ensure that I understand correctly. Your thoughts and feelings will be heard."
