Great to meet you!

When you are navigating the heavy impact of trauma, women's issues, anxiety, or PTSD, finding someone who truly understands your lived experience can be transformative. Over the past nine years of my clinical practice as a social worker, I have dedicated myself to helping individuals find solid ground during their most overwhelming moments. It is a profound honor to sit with you and help establish a safe, empowering space where you can begin to heal. My background includes working with at-risk youth and their families, including those involved in both the juvenile justice and foster care systems; crisis intervention; adults, both individually and as couples; active-duty service members and veterans; and law enforcement and other first responders. Whatever you are bringing to the table, my goal is to meet you with compassion and support you in rediscovering your strength.

My approach to therapy

I believe that genuine emotional growth happens when we blend clinical expertise with a deeply human connection. My therapeutic approach is non-judgmental, integrative, and trauma informed. I understand the impact of our environment on our lives, as well as our lived experiences, and how these experiences shape our journeys. I approach my clients the way I like to be approached: authentic, genuine, and real. To help you manage symptoms and create lasting change, I am trained in trauma-focused therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based practices, including Narcissistic Abuse Treatment. I also frequently utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems. By drawing from these methods, we can outline tangible goals that translate into meaningful, sustainable progress in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out for help takes courage, and my hope is that our time acts as a quiet refuge where you can step away from the heavy demands of your daily life. On our first session together, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where we can begin to get to know each other a bit and determine if I am the right fit for you. We will gently explore your history, symptoms, and client-centered goals at a natural, comfortable pace without any pressure to share everything all at once. I know that this can be a scary and intimidating process, and my goal is for you to feel supported and at ease through each step.
