Great to meet you!

I am Sherry Bougard, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have served those dealing with cataphoric medical conditions, those dealing with trauma, crisis, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and adjustment issues.

It is my passion to learn yet I love to educate, elevate, and empower others to reach their goals.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a humanist approach that includes assigning visual, auditorial, and/or kinesthetic assignments tailored to the individual's identified needs following a session with a goal to keep one motivated to becoming greater.

I also incorporate back-and-forth dialogue throughout a session to help one work through problems by changing their thought process.

A session concludes with a person understanding that they are not alone and that it's a "joint effort."

What you can expect from our first session

During a session, one will learn how to initiate new strategies to manage challenges. As a result of a session, a client will feel optimistic and ready to take steps towards living a healthier life either/or mentally or emotionally.

In the one-on-one encounter, one will learn to be true to yourself first, while alleviating unwanted feelings, resulting in a sense of well-being and knowing this was a "joint effort."
