Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Sherry, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I support individuals who are navigating major life transitions, struggling with anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed by their emotions. Together, we'll work to better understand your thoughts and feelings, develop practical coping skills, manage anxiety, build self-compassion, and overcome the barriers that may be keeping you from reaching your goals. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can grow, heal, and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, life transitions, stress, burnout, depression, and maternal mental health concerns. Many of my clients are capable, high-functioning individuals who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck and are ready to make meaningful changes.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a person-centered approach to help you identify unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, build effective coping skills, and create lasting change. Together, we'll work toward greater confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable sharing. This is your space, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you. I'll also ask questions to better understand your background, current concerns, and strengths so we can begin identifying goals and creating a plan that supports your growth and well-being.
