Hello, I’m Shervonne, a dedicated therapist committed to guiding individuals through life’s most complex challenges with insight, resilience, and a touch of humor. I hold a masters of science and clinical social work from Norfolk State University, earned in May 2020, in am license to practice across Virginia, Washington, state, and Connecticut allowing me to serve a diverse range of clients wherever they are on their journey.

My integrated approach combines the proven strengths of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Choice Therapy, and the Strength-Based Perspective. My approach to therapy

My approach therapy is rooted and compassionate, holistic understanding that each individual is unique, within their own strengths, experiences, and aspirations. I believe that meaningful change happens when practical strategies are combined with genuine, self-awareness, and self compassion.

I integrate evidence based modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, parentheses CBT, DBT, Choice Therapy, and Strength-Based Perspective to create a tailored pathway for each person. This integrated approach allows us to address immediate concerns will also explore underlining patterns, fostering resilience, and cultivating a sense of empowerment.

Together, we will work to identify and challenge, unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, develop healthier, emotional regulation, skills, and make conscious choices, align with your values and goals. At the same time, I will help you recognize a harness your innate strength.— those qualities and resources that often go unnoticed, but our vital to your growth and healing. Our focuses on the present in the future.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel understood, validated, and motivated to confront life challenges with courage and hope. What you can expect from me

Your first session is an important step in your journey towards growth and healing. When you attend your session, will start by getting to know each other. This initial meeting provides a safe and confidential space for you to share your story at your own pace.

Will explore your background, experience experiences, and current challenges, and I’ll take the time to understand what matters most to you. Together, we’ll discuss what you hope to achieve through therapy and outline a plan to your needs.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to get comfortable with the process, ask questions about my approach, and share any preferences or expectations you have. My goal is created welcome in environment where you feel heard, respected and supported from the very beginning.

Most importantly, there’s no rush— this is your space, and we’ll move at the pace that feels right for you. I look forward to beginning this collaborative journey with you and supporting you every step of the way.
