Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sheryl Goularte, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders using a compassionate, whole-person approach. I provide thoughtful medication management and individualized care tailored to each client’s needs. My goal is to help you feel safe, supported, and empowered as we work together toward improved mental health and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based care. I take the time to truly listen and understand your unique experiences, then work with you to create a treatment plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle. This may include medication management along with practical strategies to support overall well-being. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and focused on helping you feel more stable, confident, and in control of your life.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a thorough and supportive evaluation where I take time to understand your history, current concerns, and goals for treatment. I’ll ask a range of questions to get a clear picture of what’s going on, and we’ll collaborate on a plan moving forward.

My goal is for you to feel heard, comfortable, and respected in a calm, judgment-free space. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of next steps, which may include medication options, practical strategies, and follow-up care. You won’t be navigating this alone—we’ll work together toward helping you feel more stable, supported, and in control.
