Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), I am dedicated to supporting clients through a wide range of challenges. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental differences, behavioral challenges at home and school, grief and loss, relationship concerns, trauma, and athletic performance.

I was a former Division I basketball player. I’m especially passionate about helping athletes build confidence, resilience, and reach their full potential both on and off the field. Outside of my work, I enjoy golfing, baking, gardening, boating, and spending time in the great outdoors.

I’m committed to ongoing learning and growth so I can continue to provide effective, up-to-date care and support you in reaching your goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and respected. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify unhelpful thought patterns, better understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, and develop practical tools to create meaningful change.

At the same time, I recognize that every person is different. I tailor each session to your unique needs, strengths, and goals, integrating other strategies when helpful. Whether we’re working through anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or performance-related stress, I focus on building insight, resilience, and skills you can use in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, welcoming environment where we begin getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand what brings you in, your current concerns, and any relevant background, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once—we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

We’ll also talk about what you hope to get out of therapy and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic. I’ll explain how I typically work, including my use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and answer any questions you have about the process.

Most importantly, the first session is about building a connection and helping you feel heard and supported. By the end, we’ll have a clearer sense of next steps and how we can work together moving forward.
