Great to meet you!

I have been counseling since 2006. I believe your dreams ang goals are bigger than the obstacles you face. I have learned there is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn't!

My approach to therapy

The lens in which I address your concerns focuses on beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors. My goal is to help you understand how your thoughts impact your behaviors. We often have things we believe and act upon because “That’s what I’ve always done” or “I grew up that way.” Sometimes we need to re-evaluate or challenge those things if it is not working for us. Habits old and new may require us to “Catch it, Check it, Change it” as needed.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect honesty, compassion, and empathy. Also, clients can expect a safe environment where you can share thoughts and feelings, set your own goals, receive insight into your experiences, and identify some options in handling issues in healthy ways.
