My approach to therapy

I firmly believe that optimal mental health treatment seldom consists of medication alone. Our life struggles internal reactions, and conflicts are much more complex than something that can be addressed by simply taking a pill.

What you can expect from me

Even when medication is essential, optimal treatment includes a strong working alliance with an empathic and caring provider who takes the time to get to know you, understand you as the unique individual you are, and help you discover things about yourself. My practice nurtures the capacity for resilience and growth and diagnosing and treating illness.
