Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist dedicated to walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s emotional challenges, explore their inner world, and rediscover their sense of purpose and belonging. Cultural sensitivity, ethical integrity, and inclusivity are cornerstones of my practice. I strive to create an environment where clients of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences feel truly seen and respected. I welcome and affirm individuals from BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, and other marginalized communities, and I approach our work together with deep respect for your unique cultural context and values. Clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, disconnected in their relationships, or stuck in unhelpful cycles they can’t quite name. My role is to provide a grounded, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can safely unpack those struggles, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward the life you want to live—with greater intention, clarity, and confidence. I work with adolescents and adults through both telehealth and in-person sessions. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, whether you're seeking relief from emotional distress, hoping to heal from past trauma, or simply craving a deeper understanding of yourself. If you're ready to invest in yourself and your healing, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in a holistic perspective that honors the mind-body connection, the impact of early life experiences, and the importance of meaningful relationships. I believe that healing happens when we are seen and understood in the context of our whole story—not just our symptoms. Guided by Adlerian theory, I consider how a client’s unique life experiences, family dynamics, early memories, and beliefs about themselves shape their current patterns and emotional responses. From that foundation, we collaboratively explore new ways of thinking, being, and relating that foster personal growth, resilience, and self-compassion.

What you can expect from me

My communication style as a therapist is grounded in creating a safe, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and feelings. I aim to set a tone that is approachable and non-judgmental, much like talking to a compassionate stranger you might meet in the park—someone who listens attentively without judgment or preconceived notions. I am naturally easygoing and lighthearted, often incorporating humor and dry wit to help foster rapport and ease tension when appropriate. While I enjoy maintaining a warm and relaxed atmosphere, I also recognize the importance of addressing serious issues with depth and sensitivity. Clients should expect honest, direct conversations that may evoke strong emotions such as tears or anger. I am fully present during these moments, offering empathy, validation, and support as emotions surface. My goal is to walk alongside clients through their emotional experiences, providing a steady and compassionate presence. In challenging moments, I remain calm, patient, and attentive, understanding that growth often involves discomfort. I adapt my communication style to meet each client’s unique needs, balancing lightheartedness with seriousness as needed. Ultimately, I see therapy as a collaborative journey—yours to navigate, with me serving as a guide and partner, remaining open to the unexpected. My approach is rooted in authenticity, respect, and a genuine desire to support your process of healing and self-discovery.
