Great to meet you!

As an Asian immigrant from Taiwan, I understand firsthand the pressures of balancing cultural expectations with life in the U.S.—like feeling torn between family obligations and personal goals, navigating identity in different cultural spaces, or struggling to express emotions that may not feel “acceptable” in your community. These experiences inform my work with clients who feel stuck, anxious, or disconnected, especially when patterns from the past show up in relationships, work, or life transitions. With years of experience in private practice and community clinics in NYC, I create a compassionate, culturally attuned space for young adults, professionals, and anyone seeking to better understand themselves, explore their emotions, and build clarity, confidence, and resilience.

My approach to therapy

I use psychodynamic, relational and IFS techniques. My approach to therapy focuses on helping you better understand yourself—your emotions, relationship patterns, and the ways your past experiences may be shaping your present. I also incorporate parts work, which means we gently explore the different “parts” of you (for example, the part that feels anxious, critical, or protective) with curiosity and compassion, rather than judgment.

I have experience supporting clients through life transitions, goal setting, and building deeper connection with self and own emotions.

What you can expect from me

Working with me is like a mental workout that will strengthen your connection with self. All you need is curiosity, patience and some effort. We will explore patterns that show up in your relationships, your emotions and overwhelming moments in life. We will build a space to untangle confusion, reconnect with your inner compass, and build clarity and resilience at your own pace.
