Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York and a soon-to-be Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. I hold a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania, and I bring a unique blend of academic training, media experience, and cultural insight to my work as a therapist.

My educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Villanova University and a Master’s in Communications from Emerson College. Before transitioning into the mental health field, I worked as a media personality — an experience that shaped my passion for self-development, authentic expression, and helping others find their voice.

My approach to therapy

I have worked with a wide range of clients, including immigrants navigating acculturation, refugees and asylum seekers from diverse regions, and individuals from the South Asian community. I also have experience supporting first responders — including police officers and firefighters — as well as individuals from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. Central to my practice is fostering resilience and helping clients build inner strength in the face of life's challenges.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and flexible, drawing from psychodynamic, narrative, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), solution-focused, existential, and positive psychology frameworks, as well as Eastern philosophy and attachment theory. I also bring knowledge from a year of working in addiction treatment.

What you can expect from me

I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with their inner strength and resilience, guiding them toward a more empowered, aligned, and conscious version of themselves. My style is direct but compassionate — I meet my clients with honesty, empathy, and respect. I work well with both men and women and specialize in issues related to identity, relationships, self-empowerment, cultural adjustment, personal growth, and trauma recovery.

Whether you're navigating a major life transition, healing from the past, or seeking deeper clarity and purpose, I'm here to walk alongside you on your journey toward greater resilience and fulfillment.
