Great to meet you!

I'm Shira, and as a multi-state Licensed Professional Counselor and somatic-informed practitioner, I recognize the strength it takes to step into therapy and choose yourself. Beginning this work is both a courageous act and a meaningful investment in your future. Healing begins with intention, and I honor your choice to create space for growth, clarity, and emotional grounding.

I support my clients with a blend of evidence-based practices, holistic awareness, and gentle nervous-system integration. Our work together centers on deepening self-trust, processing life transitions, releasing internal barriers, and reconnecting to your inner steadiness and sense of worth. With 17+ years of clinical experience, I hold a grounding and compassionate space for individuals moving through stress, attachment wounds, identity shifts, and emotional overwhelm — guiding you toward clarity, resilience, and aligned living.

For clients who desire a somatic component, I offer optional nervous-system and mindfulness integration informed by my training as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).

You deserve a space to be seen, held, and empowered. If you are ready to begin — whether with a whisper of hope or a firm step forward — I am honored to walk alongside you on your path to healing and wholeness. Let's begin.

My approach to therapy

Healing is different for everyone, and your process requires a thoughtful and personalized approach. Together, we explore your experiences with curiosity, compassion, and gentle challenge when needed. I offer you a space that is warm, collaborative, culturally attuned - full of emotional insight and practical growth. With extensive training in evidence-based therapy and somatic mind-body practices, I support clients in building emotional resilience, stability, and meaningful life shifts. Our work centers on alignment — helping you connect more deeply with who you are, what you value, and who you are becoming.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you’ll have space to share what brings you to therapy and what you hope to shift, strengthen, or fortify in your life. We will explore your needs, clarify your goals, and begin laying a foundation for steady and meaningful growth. My intention is to create a safe, collaborative space where you feel seen, known, and supported — a place where your voice leads the work and your healing unfolds at a pace that honors you. This is your time, your journey, and your grounding. I’m here to guide and hold the space as you grow into the next version of yourself with clarity and confidence.
