Great to meet you!

You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted, even though you’ve been doing your best to hold everything together. You might be carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, trauma, or painful relationship patterns and wondering why things still feel so hard. You want relief, clarity, and emotional safety, and meaningful change that helps you feel grounded, understood, and more connected to yourself and others. I help my clients understand stuck patterns and build deeper, more meaningful connections. If you’re feeling unsure but ready for support, I invite you to reach out—you don’t have to do this alone!

I am a psychotherapist and a clinical supervisor licensed to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. I provide psychotherapy for the alleviation and prevention of psychopathologies and emotional disorders and for the promotion of optimal mental health. I have extensive clinical experience counseling individuals, couples, and families with various types of concerns and issues since 2012.

My approach to therapy

At Basira Therapy, we use an integrative, trauma‐informed approach combining therapies like ACT, DBT, and the Gottman Method to help with emotional regulation, relationships, and personal growth. I provide individual, premarital, and marital services.

I hold a Traditional Islamically Integrated Psychotherapy (TIIP) certification, so that I can integrate Islamic values and spirituality into therapy for Muslim clients.

Our sessions will be collaborative and tailored to your needs, focusing on building skills, insight, and healing at a pace that feels safe and meaningful for you.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, non‐judgmental space where we focus on understanding what’s bringing them in and what they want help with. We’ll begin clarifying goals, talk about what therapy might look like, and set a pace that feels safe so they leave feeling heard, grounded, and clearer about next steps.
