Great to meet you!

If you feel trapped in the relentless cycles of OCD, profound anxiety, or trauma, I help you understand these patterns with compassion and curiosity. My work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), which views the human personality as a dynamic system of parts shaped by both life experience and temperament. From this perspective, anxiety, OCD, and other problematic emotions and behaviors are often seen as protective mechanisms working diligently to keep you safe from perceived danger. Obsessions, compulsions, reassurance-seeking, hypervigilance, and mental checking are all understood as attempts to remove and prevent harm.

My approach to therapy

Because these patterns live in both the mind and body, my approach is holistic, somatic, and whole-body. I draw from evidence-based practices to address:

• racing thoughts and cognitive loops

• physiological activation

• automatic nervous system patterns

• survival responses that can keep chronic symptoms alive.

What you can expect from me

My style is patient, attuned, and compassionate, while also being direct and goal-oriented. Together, we will increase your self-awareness and psychological flexibility so you can respond effectively to distressing thoughts and urges without accommodating them—allowing you to move through life with greater freedom and stability.
