Shirley Uyuni

My name is Shirley, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with both youth and adults across a range of settings. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC), where I developed a strong foundation in mental health care and evidence-based practices. I’m committed to empowering individuals to build resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and lead more fulfilling lives.

I work with clients in a compassionate, collaborative way—meeting you where you are and supporting you at your pace. My therapeutic style is warm, client-centered, and rooted in evidence-based approaches, including Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I specialize in helping individuals work through trauma, anxiety, and depression, with a focus on building resilience and emotional well-being.

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work on identifying patterns, building insight, and developing practical tools to manage emotions, reduce stress, and cope with challenges. In our ongoing sessions, we’ll work side by side to help bring your goals to life.
