Hi ,I am a licensed professional counselor in GA with 10 years of experience working as psychotherapist . In addition I have over 15 years of working with individual in active addiction and recovery . I have worked with adolescents, adults and couples with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and career challenges. .
My counseling style is eclectic and person centered . I believe in treating anyone with respect , empathy, unconditional positive regard, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels or focusing on the diagnosis. My approach is integrative to meet the needs of you the client. Sessions and treatment plan are designed to meet your unique and specific needs.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.I strive to create a comfortable / laid back environment where you feel safe to be your true self. This is a place of non judgement . I 'm here as a trusted partner that you can confide in, but also as someone who will challenge you and help you grow.
