Great to meet you!

As your therapist, I will help you uncover your true potential so that you may lead a life that is more fulfilling and meaningful. While we cannot change your past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in life that seem to be getting in the way of your happiness.

My approach to therapy

My treatment approach is primarily cognitive-behavioral, so once we understand what led you to this point, emphasis is placed on the "here and now." We will address the root causes of a problem, and work together in a collaborative way to facilitate personal growth and necessary change that will be sustainable. I use a holistic approach that integrates every aspect of your life and relationships into this journey. I am transparent and forthcoming and believe the best change happens in an environment of compassion, respect, and unconditional acceptance.

What you can expect from me

I begin treatment with a comprehensive evaluation so that I can better understand your entire history and all of the events that brought you to me. We start with a discussion of life and therapy goals, and then collaboratively move forward with tangible strategies, process work, activities, and homework from week to week. The ultimate goal is change - in the ways that you think, feel, and behave, and in the ways that you experience your life and daily interactions with other people.
