Relationship Issues and Stress

Great to meet you!

I have dedicated my professional career to working with geriatrics, older adults, dementia, caregivers, and persons with disabilities and illnesses. I have also worked with teens and adults to help them with self-expression and exploring their identity. I have worked with people of different backgrounds, ethnic groups, and cultures, including--and not limited to Orthodox Jewish patients. Note:Patients with severe psychiatric conditions are advised to seek help elsewhere.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I focus on wellness and coping: How do I live with my issues? What's their message and wisdom to help me grow and heal?

I'm holistic, spiritual, strengths based, emphasizing insight and self-reliance, discovering and utiliizing inner and outer resources, self-reporting (somatic experiencing, feedback).

I'm open to what is safe and helpful for the client. The client is the expert in what s/he needs. That's integrated into the therapeutic interventions. Or, we explore and clarify what's needed.

What you can expect from our first session

I aim to validate the client's struggles, explore their strengths, and develop new perspectives for transformation and growth.

Note that my degree is in music therapy. I also use other creative arts modalities like art and writing.

I prefer to work with patients over the age of 8.
