Great to meet you!

My belief that we are all seeking inner growth fosters a trusting and respect-based therapeutic relationship. I have extensive training and over ten years of clinical treatment experience in the area of eating disorders including Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating and disordered eating. I trained at a PHP/IOP treatment program for eating disorders and worked as a licensed therapist in a residential level treatment facility. I earned my BA in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin and my MA in Counseling Psychology at the University of San Francisco.

My approach to therapy

In the therapy room with my clients, I enjoy bridging the mindful and self-exploratory sides of psychology with concrete, evidence-based techniques in my work. I want my clients to feel grounded with greater clarity, self-acceptance, and peace when they leave each session. I tend to be active in the session, providing accountability and concrete tools to bring about the changes my clients seek to make to improve the quality of their lives.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will include an overview of a typical treatment plan based on your presenting issue, an explanation of how I structure sessions, and then a history gathering assessment and space for you to ask me any questions you might have.
