Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m glad you are here. I have a background of specializing in addiction as a mental health therapist with over 16 years of experience, I am passionate about helping people discover the strengths within themselves and learn to live life more fully. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, stress and burnout, panic, anger, women’s issues, substance use, addiction, and recovery. Many of my clients arrive feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to move forward — and my goal is to help you leave with a clearer sense of self and real tools for change. I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive, and empowering space where you feel heard, understood, and encouraged. When I am not working, you can often find me reading, hiking, traveling, or bowling.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, solution-focused, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I draw from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand their patterns, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. In session, we may explore the thoughts and beliefs that contribute to anxiety or depression, develop tools for managing panic, stress, anger, or burnout, process trauma and grief at a safe pace, and strengthen motivation in substance use recovery. I meet you where you are and build on your existing strengths, because I believe every person has the right to healing, happiness, and a life that feels more stable and fulfilling. My style is warm, compassionate, practical, and encouraging, with a focus on helping you find the path that works for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, understanding, and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know each other and identifying what kind of support would be most helpful. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what has been feeling difficult, and what you hope will change through our work together. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use, addiction, relationship issues, women’s issues, panic, anger, stress, or burnout, we will begin creating goals that feel realistic and meaningful. My goal is for you to feel safe, respected, and supported as we start building insight, practical coping strategies, healthier relationships, and a path toward lasting change.
