Great to meet you!

As a board-certified psychiatrist, I bring both clinical expertise and a deeply compassionate approach to patient care. I combine evidence-based treatment with attentive listening and individualized planning, recognizing that each patient’s experience is unique. My goal is to provide care that is both clinically sound and genuinely supportive. I specialize in the treatment of adults aged 18 and older. With more than 17 years of post-residency clinical experience in the United States across multiple levels of care and practice settings, I have developed extensive expertise in managing a wide range of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, panic disorders, PTSD, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

My approach to therapy

I believe that effective psychiatric care begins with listening. Every individual has a unique story, and I take the time to understand your experiences, symptoms, strengths, and goals before developing a treatment plan.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I work with you—not just to manage symptoms—but to improve your overall quality of life. When appropriate, I incorporate medication as one part of a comprehensive treatment plan, recognizing that therapy, lifestyle changes, and other supportive strategies are often equally important. If medication is recommended, I carefully select and adjust treatment based on your individual needs, preferences, and response over time.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation designed to understand you as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms. We will review your current concerns, psychiatric and medical history, past treatments, family history, and relevant life experiences. I will ask structured questions to clarify diagnoses and better understand how your symptoms are affecting your daily functioning. Equally important, this session is an opportunity for you to share your goals and ask questions. Together, we will begin developing a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication management, psychotherapy recommendations, lifestyle modifications, or further evaluation as needed. My goal in the first session is to create a safe, respectful, and collaborative space where you feel heard and understood.
