Great to meet you!

Maybe you're the person everyone depends on, but lately you're wondering who is there for you. You may be caring for a struggling teenager or loved one, grieving someone you lost, dealing with tension in your family, or lying awake at night worrying about things you can't control. For some women, that also means balancing work, relationships, family responsibilities, and cultural expectations while quietly feeling exhausted or disconnected from yourself. I work with adults who are tired of carrying so much alone and need a place where their needs can finally matter too. With more than a decade of experience, my goal is to help you feel less overwhelmed, strengthen the relationships that matter to you, and find a healthier way forward.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me isn't about telling you how you should feel or expecting you to change everything at once. We'll look at what's creating the most stress in your life and identify realistic changes that can make things feel more manageable. That might mean learning how to stop anxious thoughts from controlling your day, communicating with family without every conversation becoming tense, setting boundaries without feeling guilty, or finding your footing after a painful loss. We'll also pay attention to how family dynamics and cultural expectations may influence the choices you make and the pressure you put on yourself. My goal is for you to leave our conversations with practical ways to handle what's happening now while building toward the life and relationships you want.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to come to your first session knowing exactly what to say or how to explain everything you're feeling. We'll start with what's been weighing on you, whether that's worry about someone you love, family conflict, relationship stress, grief, feeling down, or simply being exhausted from taking care of everyone else. I'll ask questions to understand what's happening, how it's affecting your everyday life, and what you wish could be different. You'll have space to talk openly without feeling judged, rushed, or expected to have all the answers. By the end of our conversation, my goal is for you to feel understood and have a clear sense of what we can begin working on together.
