Great to meet you!

I'm a bicultural, bilingual immigrant therapist, and my work is deeply shaped by my own lived experiences, with passion to support and empower people of color, LGBTQ folks, and other marginalized groups. Both personally and professionally, I’m committed to challenging systems of oppression and helping create a world that feels more equitable, safe, and livable for all of us.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Person-Centered Therapy, but at the heart of it, I see therapy as a space where you can show up exactly as you are. I bring in tools from ACT to help you relate differently to painful thoughts and emotions, get clear on what really matters to you, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and meaningful. From a person-centered perspective, I believe healing happens through genuine connection, and that means building a relationship where you feel warm, safe, respected, and truly seen. I believe each person’s path is unique, and I’m here to support your growth in a way that reflects your goals, not anyone else’s.

I also draw from mindfulness and somatic approaches, especially with a trauma-informed lens. So much of our experience lives in the body, and part of this work is helping you reconnect with your body and your sense of self. I truly believe that healing isn’t only about fixing what’s broken, but about rediscovering your own strength, wisdom, and agency. It’s an honor to be alongside you in that process.

What you can expect from our first session

I show up to therapy as a real person, not just a therapist. I’m here to listen with curiosity and respect, and I’m also not afraid to be direct or gently challenge your perspective when needed. Sometimes we do role-plays to work through a difficult but important conversation; sometimes we practice mindfulness techniques together to soothe the body. Often, we delve into patterns from your past to help you gain more awareness of your present.

I hope you'll leave our sessions feeling a little more grounded and a little less alone. Many clients say they start to feel more connected to themselves—more able to notice their patterns, understand what they care about, and take steps (big or small) toward the life they want. You won’t get judgment or quick fixes from me, but you will get a space where it’s okay to be exactly where you are, and where we can make room for both pain and possibility.

Feel free to set up a free 15-minute phone/video consultation!
