Great to meet you!

I’ve spent the past five years working in a community mental health setting in Southern Illinois, providing co-occurring mental health and substance use services to diverse populations, including individuals facing mood disorders, trauma, personality disorders, and neurocognitive issues. I’m also experienced in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, including those navigating transgender/gender dysphoria and transitions.

Additionally, I have experience collaborating with legal entities such as parole, probation, TASC, and DCFS, and have supported clients in drug court and intensive outpatient settings.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, meeting people where they are and helping them develop the skills they need to overcome challenges. I’m committed to continually expanding my knowledge to provide the best care possible to all my clients.

What you can expect from me

In therapy with me, the goal is simple: to equip you with the tools and strategies you need to support yourself in everyday life. I’m not here for the long haul unless you need me—therapy is about helping you reach a place where you can thrive independently. Together, we'll work through what's going on, build new coping skills, and get you to a point where you're confidently handling life on your own.
