Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatrist providing personalized care for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood symptoms, trauma-related concerns, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping patients feel heard and supported throughout treatment.

I currently serve as an Attending Physician with NYC Health + Hospitals and the New York State Office of Mental Health, as well as an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in the whole person. I work with clients to understand not only their symptoms, but also the broader context of their lives, relationships, stressors, strengths, goals, and values. When medication is appropriate, I take a measured and transparent approach, reviewing benefits, risks, alternatives, and expected timelines. I also emphasize psychotherapy-informed care, coping strategies, lifestyle factors, and long-term resilience.

What you can expect from me

During the first full session, we will take time to understand what brings you to treatment, your current symptoms, relevant history, prior treatment experiences, and your goals for care. I will ask questions to get a full clinical picture, and we will begin developing a treatment plan together. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, more informed about your options, and empowered with clear next steps.
