Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist with several years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. I create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, blending evidence-based techniques with warmth and cultural awareness.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of St. Thomas and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. In addition to my clinical work, I am state-approved to supervise up-and-coming therapists, which allows me to mentor and support the next generation of mental health professionals.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I love empowering my clients to find peace and healing by equipping them with the tools and insights needed for growth and self-discovery. My style is laid-back and approachable, but I will also challenge you to view things from multiple perspectives, helping you break through barriers and gain new insights.

I specialize in depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges, working with individuals, couples, and families to navigate life’s complexities. My integrative approach draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and systems theory, tailoring sessions to meet your unique needs.

I believe in the power of resilience and self-awareness, and my goal is to support you on your journey toward meaningful change. Whether you’re facing specific struggles or seeking deeper self-understanding, I am here to walk alongside you.

What you can expect from our first session

Through our work together, clients can expect:

  • Increased Self-Awareness & Insight – Through thoughtful conversation and gentle but direct challenges, clients may gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, helping them recognize patterns that may be holding them back.
  • New Perspectives & Problem-Solving Skills – I encourage clients to see situations from multiple angles, thus fostering personal growth and more effective decision-making.
  • Tools for Coping & Emotional Regulation – Clients may develop practical skills to manage stress, anxiety, and relationship challenges.
  • A Sense of Peace & Healing – My supportive approach allows clients to process difficult emotions and experiences in a way that fosters emotional relief and long-term healing.
  • Stronger Relationships & Communication Skills – For couples and families, therapy can provide a space to strengthen emotional connections, improve communication, and navigate conflicts in healthier ways.
  • Encouragement & Accountability – Clients can expect a balance of support and challenge, knowing I will encourage them while also holding them accountable for their growth and progress.
