Great to meet you!

I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from New York University and a Master's of Social Work from Yeshiva University. I am currently a licensed clinical social worker in the state of NY - specializing in the treatment of substance use disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), ADHD, and anxiety-related conditions. I am seasoned in working with both adolescents and adults, especially ones who are skeptical about the benefits of therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach, grounded in psychodynamic theory, is effective in uncovering unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence behavior. We will begin by exploring past experiences and relationships - both positive and negative - and seeing how they have shaped their behaviors, thought patterns, and interests. Once we’ve begun to understand those deeply, we can then work together to regulate your emotional responses and develop new thought patterns.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will create a warm environment in which we will discuss your goals, history, and any difficulties in your life. If we are a good fit to work together, we can proceed to create a treatment plan.
