Great to meet you!

As a relational psychodynamic therapist, my first goal is to create an environment where you feel understood and supported in exploring your story. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, families, and perinatal patients. I also am an especially good fit for those who struggle with feelings of guilt and shame; those who consider themselves highly sensitive; and those who feel like outsiders.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My work often begins with exploring the intensity and complexity of family relationships as these play a significant role in what makes you, you. Using a psychodynamic lens, I focus on root emotional and relational patterns that show up in therapy. Together, we reflect on and understand where you have been, where you are, and where you want to go.

What you can expect from our first session

Together we can make sense of what feels confusing, we can use these as indicators of something that is running deeper that needs to be addressed and that your body is telling you that you are ready to look at the underlying causes. You have the answers within you, I can help you with the questions.

***Please note that at this time I am not accepting new patients for individual therapy. I am only accepting new patients for group therapy. More information can be found at https://pahtiacounseling.com/group-therapy ***
