Great to meet you!

I’m a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 15+ years of healthcare experience and 10 years as a Nurse Practitioner. My background includes outpatient, inpatient, emergency, consultation-liaison, correctional, and telepsychiatry settings, which has shaped the way I care for people as whole individuals—not simply as a diagnosis. I work with adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, sleep difficulties, and life transitions. My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care while creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and involved in your treatment.

My approach to therapy

I believe good psychiatric care begins with listening. I take a collaborative and individualized approach, combining evidence-based psychiatric treatment with an integrative perspective that considers sleep, stress, lifestyle, relationships, physical health, and other factors that may affect emotional well-being. I want you to understand your treatment options and feel comfortable asking questions, because treatment should be something we develop together—not something that simply happens to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to understand you beyond the symptoms that brought you in. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, your medical and mental health history, current concerns, medications, lifestyle, and what you would like to be different in your life. From there, we’ll discuss my clinical impressions and develop a treatment plan together, which may include medication, lifestyle recommendations, therapy, or other appropriate supports. Most importantly, you can expect a respectful, judgment-free conversation where you have time to ask questions and actively participate in your care.
