Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Sierra Brown, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist. I graduated from Antioch University - Los Angeles with my Masters in Clinical Psychology, emphasis in child studies, and have been working as a therapist since 2022. I have previous experience working at a primary mental health (PHP/IOP) outpatient program as a case manager and group leader. I am currently part of a group practice, working individually with clients with a variety of needs, a variety of ages, and I tailor their treatment accordingly.

My approach to therapy

I use modalities such as psychodynamic and CBT, with a very humanistic approach, and mindfulness-based skills. I like to meet my clients where they are at, establish a strong rapport, and proceed in a very collaborative fashion. I have a lot of experience with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and self esteem issues, among many others, and I am always expanding my knowledge.

What you can expect from me

I tend to create a very warm and welcoming environment for my clients. I want to establish rapport with each client, in a way that creates ease and comfort while in sessions. I want to get to know my clients, and my clients are always welcome to get to know me. We can work collaboratively on goals, and I will help each client in a way that is unique to them.
