Great to meet you!

I entered the world of therapy help end the stigma against mental health and promote access to affordable mental healthcare for everyone. I attended William & Mary for a Master's in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in multiple positions, including as a mental health tech, doing intensive in-home and mental health skill building, in a psychiatric emergency department and psychiatric hospital admissions, outpatient therapy, and in residential eating disorder treatment.

My approach to therapy

  • I will help you dismantle the deeply held beliefs (schemas) that promote the cognitions and behaviors that contribute to your daily struggles, whether it is related to fear of abandonment, feelings of emotional deprivation, or social isolation.
  • Together, we navigate the stormy waters as you journey to better wellness and optimal mental health. From "surviving" to "thriving," you will not be alone as you heal from what has hindered you in the past, as it will not be your future.

What you can expect from me

  • I hope you leave sessions with knowledge, understanding of yourself, and a better understanding of the world around you.
  • I hope you leave sessions feeling relieved, empathized with, and cared for, and that your heart will weigh a little less than it did before.
  • I hope you leave sessions wanting to come back.
