Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine. I work primarily with adults who find themselves stuck in familiar patterns like overthinking, people-pleasing, difficulty trusting themselves, relationship struggles, anxiety, trauma, or feeling disconnected from who they are. My approach is warm, curious, and honest, with a focus on understanding where patterns came from while also helping you figure out what you want to do differently now. Therapy with me is collaborative, and I want you to feel like you can show up as your full self without having to have everything figured out first.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and curious. I care a lot about helping you understand not just what you are feeling, but where certain patterns came from, what keeps them going, and what you actually want to do differently. I tend to work through an attachment-based, experiential, and narrative lens, but I am not rigid about any one approach. I want therapy to fit you, not the other way around. I will validate what is hard, but I will also gently challenge you, ask the deeper questions, and help you build more trust in yourself along the way.

What you can expect from me

The first session is truly about getting to know you, what's been feeling hard, and what you are hoping can feel different. I don't expect you to walk in with the perfect explanation or tell me your whole life story in an hour. We will go at a pace that feels comfortable and make space for whatever feels most important. I’ll ask questions to help us understand the patterns underneath what you are experiencing, and together we will start figuring out what you want from therapy. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, a little clearer, and like you do not have to figure all of this out by yourself.
