Great to meet you!

Growing up, I was always the person my friends came to. I never judged, and people seemed to feel genuinely safe around me. I think I knew then that this was the direction I was heading. Once I started studying counseling psychology and learned about the real impact of childhood trauma, everything clicked into place. I came to believe that early trauma is a gateway to so much of what people struggle with in adulthood: anxiety, depression, relational patterns that feel impossible to shift. That understanding is what drew me into specializing in trauma and attachment work, and it is what has kept me in this work for more than eight years. I still find it just as meaningful.

My approach to therapy

I use EMDR, Brainspotting, and mindfulness, alongside attachment-based and CBT approaches. The modality matters less to me than the fit between method and person. What I have learned over the years is that most people who have experienced trauma need two things above everything else: to feel genuinely safe and to know someone is tracking them closely. I build that container first. From there, we do the deeper work together at a pace that actually makes sense for where you are. I also use Theraplay for clients working on building attachment with their children, which is a piece I find particularly significant.

What you can expect from me

I primarily work with adults and children navigating PTSD and complex trauma. I specialize in helping individuals heal from traumatic experiences that continue to impact their lives through persistent fear, anxiety, emotional numbness, intrusive memories, difficulty feeling safe, relationship struggles, and a sense of being stuck despite wanting to move forward. All sessions are through telehealth. If you have been carrying something for a long time and are ready to do something about it, I would love to connect.
