Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Silvia, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals break old patterns, heal from relational wounds, and step into lives that feel true, peaceful, and self-led. My style is direct but supportive — I believe in honest conversations, gentle accountability, and building emotional strength without shame.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in strength-based therapy, attachment work, and practical coping strategies, always tailored to your personality and pace. I'm not a “smile and nod” therapist — I collaborate with you actively, offering insight, reflection, and real strategies you can use outside of session.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about building comfort and clarity. I don’t expect you to have the perfect words or know exactly where to start — that’s my job to help with.

Here’s what we’ll do:

  • We’ll go at your pace. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. There’s no pressure to “dive into the deep stuff” before you’re ready.
  • We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in. I’ll ask gentle, guiding questions to help us understand what you’ve been carrying and what you want your life to feel like instead.
  • We’ll identify your goals — big or small. Some clients come in knowing exactly what they want to work on. Others just know they don’t want to feel like this anymore. Both are totally okay.
  • I’ll explain how I work. I’ll share a bit about my approach — collaborative, honest, supportive, and focused on real progress outside of session.
  • We’ll create a plan together. We’ll talk about what our work together might look like and make sure you leave the session feeling grounded, not overwhelmed.

My goal in the first session isn’t to fix everything — it’s to help you feel heard, supported, and hopeful that change is possible.
